Challenge
Daily Dose, a growing juice and wellness café brand, sought to expand its presence with a new location in Pewaukee that would serve as both a neighborhood café and a reflection of the brand’s health-focused identity. The challenge included adapting the tenant space into a fully operational juice and coffee bar with specialized refrigeration, plumbing, prep areas, and customer service counters. The project also required meeting strict health, safety, and foodservice codes for fresh juice production, smoothies, and wellness-focused menu offerings. In addition, the space needed to balance a clean, modern aesthetic with warm and welcoming finishes that aligned with Daily Dose’s vibrant brand while fitting seamlessly within the surrounding Pewaukee community and retail environment. Coordination between trades and an accelerated construction schedule were critical to preparing the café for opening on time.
Solution
Catalyst Construction managed the full tenant build-out, coordinating foodservice trades for refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and specialty kitchen equipment installation. The completed space blended bright finishes, natural materials, and branded design elements to create an inviting café atmosphere that reflected Daily Dose’s wellness-centered identity. Construction was carefully sequenced to maintain efficiency within the compact footprint while integrating specialty MEP systems including refrigeration, prep sinks, grease traps, and dedicated electrical requirements for blenders and espresso equipment. Catalyst also managed inspections and health department approvals to help ensure a smooth path to opening.

The completed Pewaukee location expanded Daily Dose’s footprint and strengthened its presence within the local community, providing customers with convenient access to fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, and wellness offerings.
