Solution

Catalyst Construction, as general contractor, delivered a four-story Homewood Suites designed to Hilton brand specs, including:

  • 107 suites with kitchens and living areas
  • Meeting space and business center
  • Indoor pool and fitness center
  • Lobby lounge and dining/breakfast area
  • Outdoor patio and grilling space for long-stay guests

Coordinated site improvements as part of the larger Drexel Town Square North development, which also included a Water Street Brewery and office buildings. Utilities, stormwater, and traffic flow had to serve multiple simultaneous builds. Managed Hilton’s strict brand QA/QC process: FF&E procurement, fire/life-safety systems, ADA compliance, and energy standards. Sequenced work around supply chain challenges during 2020-2021, maintaining schedule through proactive subcontractor management and phased deliveries.

Impact

  • Brought first new-build extended-stay Hilton product to Oak Creek, strengthening the city’s hospitality capacity near the airport and I-94 corridor.
  • Enhanced the 16-acre mixed-use district, creating synergy with adjacent restaurants, brewery, and offices—making the site a full lifestyle destination.
  • Positioned Oak Creek to attract business travel, relocations, and long-stay visitors, driving economic growth and hotel tax revenue.
  • Reinforced Catalyst’s expertise in hospitality construction, balancing brand compliance with local developer goals.
  • Delivered during a challenging construction climate (pandemic era), showing Catalyst’s reliability under pressure.
