The Aspire Apartments (Aspire Hall)

Challenge

Deliver WLC’s first new student housing in decades: a six-story, apartment-style residence that also adds ground-floor academic space, structured parking, and upper-class amenities, on a constrained urban edge adjacent to active campus uses.

Solution

Catalyst (CM/GC) coordinated with EUA and WLC on a program that stacks 54 two-bed/2-bath apartments (four students/unit), integrates ~5,000 SF of classrooms at grade for daily academic use, and tucks enclosed parking below for safety and traffic flow, sequenced to minimize campus disruption.

Impact

The building expanded beds for sophomores/upper-classmen and elevated the campus living experience with apartment-style privacy while adding instructional capacity in the same footprint.
