Established with the ultimate goal of providing high-quality Christian education in Northeast Wisconsin, Providence Academy officially opened its doors in August of 1993 with 18 students. In 2007, Providence relocated to the former St. Jude’s school facility at 1420 Division Street in west Green Bay and continued its exponential growth which has doubled over the last decade to nearly 150 students in 2020. Lakeland Community Church
Catalyst Construction is currently in progress on a 30,000 square foot addition which will include a new worship, gathering, and office space. The project will also include expanded parking and renovations to the existing building. At the time that Catalyst was brought onto the project, Lakeland Community Church was (and still is) rapidly growing ministry that had purchased a building and done some renovation and addition work with another contractor that unfortunately didn’t work out well. Wisconsin Lutheran High School
With more than 15 years since its last major expansion and a Fine Arts building that had not seen any restorative work since the building was constructed in 1958, Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee was in need of a structural upgrade. Enter Catalyst Construction, who was selected by the high school to take on the task of giving the campus the face lift it needed and to bring the aging Fine Arts facility into the 21st century. Welford Sanders Lofts
Catalyst Construction converted the 184,843 square-foot former Nunn Bush Shoe Co. factory into a mix of offices and apartments. A partnership comprising Wisconsin Development and the non-profit Martin Luther King Economic Development Corporation redeveloped the property by converting the existing building into 59 apartments and 38,000 square-feet of office space. As part of the conversion, a two-story, 1960s-era addition was demolished to form an interior courtyard space inside the historic U-shaped complex. The Sherman Phoenix
In 2016, violent unrest broke out in the Sherman Park neighborhood of Milwaukee after a fatal police shooting rocked the community. In the weeks following, community conversations identified the need for safe, welcoming neighborhood spaces, and certain leaders in the community decided to take matters into their own hands in order to foster change. St. Peter Catholic Church
St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger has been blessed with a faithful and generous membership throughout the ministry’s 150-year history. Catalyst Construction was selected through a qualification and interview process as the church’s construction management firm. The multi-phase project called for major renovations to the existing space including expansion of the sanctuary to accommodate additional seating for worship.
