Gardens of Hartford was a new 58,600sf, 2-story, 48-unit residential care apartment complex (RCAC), on 2.5 acres. It had been more than 20 years since Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Service expanded their facilities. They found the opportunity to develop next to a thriving WELS congregation.
Through their new building, WLCFS was determined to make a statement about their faith, services, programs and commitment to the congregation. They looked to Catalyst Construction to make this goal a reality. We assisted in the selection of the architect, arranged numerous building tours, worked through zoning and developer issues with the city, conducted neighborhood meetings, and helped created new programs. Not only did we create a higher standard for senior living, we delivered the building for $85/square foot.
